Ribbon Mum

Show your school pride by displaying a Ribbon Mum in your school colors. Ribbon Mums are perfect for locker decor, as well as mailbox, door, and car decor. For added interest and appeal, cool glue 4" Qualatex Microfoil Stars into the bow or to the ribbon tails, then personalize the ribbon and balloons using Qualatex Balloon Markers.

Materials:
2 #40 Qualatex MasterBow Ribbons in School Colors
Qualatex BalloonRibbon
Fresh or Silk Mums & Floral Wire
Charms, Glitter Stickers, Garland, & Bells
Cool Glue

Instructions:
1. Make a 6" bow using the two Qualatex MasterBow ribbons of your choice, being sure to leave long tails.
2. Before fluffing the bow, insert a mum into the center of the bow, at the notch, with floral wire. Tie the floral wire into place at the back of the bow.
3. Fluff the bow, but instead of pulling all the colors toward you, pull to the front only the color you want around the flower. Pull the other color to the back. Turn the bow and do the same for the other side. When finished, the flower should be in the center, and the ribbon colors should be in a ring around the flower.
4. Bend the stem of the mum in a circle, and glue the mum to a backer if desired.
5. Shred some of the ribbon tails and tie charms to them. Add glitter stickers to the other tails, or tie on garland and bells. Glue accessories to the center of the mum if desired.
